Horror Halloween -- Part 9: The Attack of the Big Dog

Have you ever seen a mad dog? I don't mean a dog that is infected with rabies, or one that is just plain crazy. I mean a dog that is very, very angry. On that Horror Halloween night our big German Shepard was very angry. She had just seen her master flung to the ground and hurt, and her best dog friend murdered.

She growled and leaped up at that purple face. She bit into the lower lip and hung there still suspended in the air, biting the purple lip, growling and scratching the fearsome face with her strong nails.

The purple face looked startled, but otherwise did not move.

The big dog continued holding on and growling and scratching. Then she fell to the ground at the bottom of that monstrous face. In her mouth she had a chunk of the fearsome monster's lower lip, a chunk about the size of my head.

The Horror Halloween monstor started screaching a high pitched deafening scream. The green slime that killed our little dog started oozing out of the monsters lip, where the chunk was gone. It was like a putrid disgusting kind of blood.

That loud shriek from the monster was too much for even our brave dog, and she ran behind the house. I regained my wits and followed her as fast as I could.

The monster continued to scream and started babbling something we could not understand. It sounded like a wounded child calling for help from its parents.
