Horror Halloween -- Part 12: Sucked In the Purple Ooze

They came oozing forward on that Horror Halloween night, closer and closer to my once brave but now cowering dog and I.

We pressed our backs against the house wall, trapped, and watched in a trance as the gigantic menacing purple faces came towards us.

Onwards they slithered, a purple wall of cragged faces so huge that they towered over the trees. As they came closer they became packed ever tighter together. As they became more and more packed their faces became thinner and thinner. I thought that they might become so tightly packed that they would explode and their lethal green slime would bury us.

They continued pressing closer and closer -- closer to us and closer to each other. As they came to the edge of the lawn they were so tightly packed together that their faces became distorted, thin vertical poles with huge noses sticking out.

We watched terrified as they advaced to us until finally they were towering over us on that Horror Halloween night.

With a deafening roar they charged upon us and sucked us into that purple gelatinous mass.
